OX.DH technology that optimises the fertility pathway

Australian fertility service provider Monash IVF has partnered with OX.DH to introduce its assisted reproduction (OX.ar) solution across their services. The partnership will see OX.DH digitising Monash IVF’s workflows to give patients and clinicians a secure,  modern, intuitive experience that optimises the fertility pathway.

Reproductive healthcare is one of the few pathways involving multiple participants and clinicians, requiring more people to be involved in consultations, treatment, and consent.

The OX.DH Microsoft cloud-native platform puts the patient at the centre of the service and makes focusing on providing the best care possible easier for healthcare teams. By introducing  portal access, patients are empowered and engaged in their treatment while Monash IVF spend more of their time providing patient care and engagement rather than administrative activities.

The partnership will deliver a secure and robust infrastructure supporting digital transformation, that scales efficiently using open standards that synchronise with the regulatory bodies now while meeting and exceeding the expectation of the patient.

Michael Knaap, CEO of Monash IVF said: “The demand for fertility treatments has been growing for several years and the pressure to expand services while offering the very best patient care has never been higher. We are one of the leading providers of IVF services in Australia and South East Asia and we are excited to be partnering with OX.DH as we recognise their technology, leadership, and are enthusiastic about our shared culture of success with commitment to digitalisation, an optimal patient experience and clinical outcomes. Our partnership is meaningful as we look to improve our patient experience and deliver operating leverage as we expand our services."

OX.DH founder and CEO John Kosobucki added: “We’re delighted to be adding Monash IVF as an industry leader to our innovative user community. Our partnership, along with our solutions, will accelerate the digital transformation and deliver a truly modern patient and clinician experience.”

Monash IVF CTO Thierry Panthier said: “Following an evaluation of vendors and in-house development, OX. Assisted Reproduction was selected because of their comprehensive functionality, extensible Microsoft cloud-native architecture and experienced leadership team."

OX.DH chief operating officer Emma Stratful added: “It’s about helping patients to take greater control over their own health and enabling shared decision-making. If patients can fill out necessary documentation online, manage their own appointments and access their results through a patient portal, then they are part of the process and up-to-date with everything that is happening. We’re really proud we can help people on their journey and healthcare teams to deliver their services.”

Malik Jainudeen, Monash IVF CFO: “We evaluated many options and taking into account the scalability and the speed with which the solution needs to be ready, the commercial proposition offered by OX.DH was compelling. Combined with very fast cloud deployment we can start to get value from their solution much faster than any other alternative and it aligns with utilisation of Microsoft across multiple functions of our Business."

On the solution, Kosobucki said: “Being cloud-native and built using Microsoft technologies it is really simple for clinics to do their work in a secure and familiar environment making best use of the investments and intellectual capital already in place. With security paramount for healthcare data, OX.DH is built on Microsoft Azure with open APIs, which is secure by design and secure by default."
